Research basis
Speak Up / VOICE-IF is an independent research prototype grounded in published work on implementation intentions and group decision processes. It is designed to test whether AI-assisted recognition of critical situations helps people execute self-endorsed plans. No endorsement by any researcher or institution is claimed, and no effect of this system has been scientifically validated. Staying silent is never treated as a failure.
The gap this prototype addresses is between intention and action: a person can intend to raise something and still not raise it at the moment it would change the decision. Speak Up is designed to test whether participant-endorsed if–then plans, paired with a private cue when the planned situation actually occurs, increase the execution of those plans. The primary contrast is the AI-personalised arm against the standard-plan arm; the secondary contrast adds rehearsal.
